An API is known in the programming world as an Application Program Interface. What does this mean you ask? Well from my understand an API is used to grab data from a particular source, usually a database.
The Travelgram App was built using the Ruby on Rails framework and no scaffolding was used to build my project. This app was created with the intention to help travelers blog about their experiences.
